Saltwater Flats Fishing Near Orlando

The closest saltwater fishing to Orlando and Disney World is the flats of the Mosquito Lagoon and north Indian River Lagoon. These shallow water lagoons are between Cocoa Beach and Daytona Beach along Florida's east coast. The Mosquito Lagoon is inside the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and has excellent year round fishing for redfish and seatrout.

Stalk fish from the bow of a Hewes flats boat and cast to fish you can see using light tackle or fly. No experience is necessary for spinning tackle charters.
