Our boats and crew always place in every tournament we have entered. We have quite a good Costa Rica fishing record, especially in the local and regional fishing tourneys. In the last tournament held in Flamingo during the last week of April 2007, our Costa Rica sport fishing boat Good Dog placed first with seven Marlin and four Sailfish releases and our Costa Rica sportfishing charter boat Crazy Dog placed second releasing five Marlin with twelve hook ups. It was one heck of a great day of fishing, and at the right time - tourney time!

Our Costa Rica sport fishing experience ensure that you experience a great fishing trip no matter if you come to fish one day or one week. Fishing in Costa Rica aboard any one of our sport fishing charters will be an experience you will want to return too. Our crews also have a considerable amount of knowledge and experience with fly fishing if that interests you. If you would prefer or like to experience a Costa Rica fly fishing excursion then we recommend you bring your own fly rod and gear. We maintain a limited amount of fly rods for any client that wishes to try fly fishing in Costa Rica.

If billfishing is on your itinerary then your best bet to catch a marlin would be to schedule your Costa Rica charter in the months of January, February and March which is when you may also get hooked up to a pacific sailfish. Costa Rica sail fsihing in the early part of the year is mostly done in the southern part of Costa Rica and we usually have one or two boats in Golfito area. The Sailfish migrate up and down the coast so there will always be an area along the coast where Costa Rica sailfishing will be great.

Captains Bio: We use a numerous experienced Costa Rica fishing Captains on our many sportfishing charters. We have experience charter Captains from the northern Costa Rica region in Papagayo, Tamarindo, and Guanacaste south to Quepos and the Osa Peninsula.

Our Captains are very experienced in all phases of boating, fishing, and safety. Our Costa Rica fishing charters do not leave the dock with a fully experienced Captain and Mate on board. You can expect to be treated with a kid friendly atmosphere with total regard for your family and friend's safety in mind.
