FAT CAT Sportfishing "FAT CAT" is the a premier charter boat out of Shark River Inlet, NJ. FAT CAT fishes for all species and has multiple tournament wins.
FAT CAT the vessel is a 34FT Catamaran designed to cut though rough water with superior performance and unmatched stability. The Vessel is equipped with all the latest electronics, safety equipment and most importantly state of the art fishing tackle. Our tackle is custom built using top of the line rods and reels.
Extensive use is made of lures, teasers and various bait rigs ensuring the very best fishing. FAT CAT is powered by twin 370 hp Cummins diesels allowing cruising speeds of up to 30 knots and a 3 1/2 hour ride to Canyon (conditions permitting). A large rear deck with plenty of fishing area complement the vessel which is also equipped with a cabin complete with toilet, shower and fully room to sleep up to six people.

Capt. Steve King has had many accomplishements over the years winning and placing in multiple tournaments and putting many of his customers on trophy catches.
His most recent win was 1st place in Cape May's South Jersey Tournament one of if not the largest and most prestigious shark tournaments on the East Coast.
He took 1st place in the Heaviest Shark catagory with a 590lb Thresher shark. |
