Well we manged to fish a few days this week & it has been all around great fishing! We had one of my all time loyal customers & good friends Ken & Myra on the boat for a couple of days. Myra has never caught a Sail before this week but she has now! Ken let her do all the angling each day & Ken tried to take pictures. Lesson #1 never try to take pictures sitting on the back covering boards with your back to the sea while backing hard on a angry fish!
Lets just say he is a better observer than photographer. We did see several fish each day with a shot at doubles & triples each day. Day 2 they got there double as usual Myra made quick work of hers but we helped Ken enough idling backwards to get the release on his also.
Also we caught enough Mahi to take to the local restaurant for dinner for everyone. The weather has warmed back up here again to the high 70s & low 80s once again which has been very nice. btw there was a local Sailfish tournament this weekend & there was 650 fish released in just a few days. It dont get much better than that!!
