Puerto Vallarta fishing February 2012, Saltwater Fishing Report

This year in Puerto Vallarta fishing we have several tournaments planned.

Along with our annual 2 November tournaments , summer marlin/tuna tournament

we have a new one that we be held in La Cruz this year in October. They are moving

this tournament from San Blas to atrract more fishermen. This we be held in October as well.

As of lately we have been catching sailfish, mahi mahi , bonita, huge rooster fish and snapper.

The water temperature is holding around 74 deg. from clear to off color offshore. The bay fishing

is holding good with tuna schooling around los arcos to yelapa with some mahi mahi mixed in with these fish.

Offshore 6 to 10 N.M. the sailfish / mahi mahi is good, not great but if you spend the time looking for them they

are there for the taking. The best fishing has been around the islands and morro with a little bit of everything.

The best baits have been live goggle eye and ralpals slow trolled. This have produced snapper, bonita and huge

roosterfish almost everyday. The weather id perfect here in Puerto Vallarta with starting temp at 60's and finishing

around 80 deg in the afternoon. Come and join us for a day of fishing or one of our tournaments.
