We have just completed the first leg of our Lake Ontario Pro-Am tour for 2011. The fishing was awesome as most boats came in with limit catches of kings in both the amateur and pro divisions. After all was said and done the Ace Charters Sportfishing team finished 8th out of 50 boats in the pro division cashing in for $2000.00. The team is also in the top three for the best of the west challenge cup.
Lake Ontario salmon fishing is at its best as is usual for this time of the year. I would expect the fishing to continue to be strong well into the spring.
Next stop is Oak Orchard for the second leg of the Lake Ontario pro am series. We will be staying here at the "Oak" for all of this week hoping to put a winning program together for round two. Wish us luck!
