Lake Ontario King salmon fishing out of Oswego,NY, Freshwater Fishing Report

Lake Ontario salmon fishing has been absolutely stellar over the last several days with many fishing coming to the boat in excess of 20lbs on a daily basis.In fact, our am/pm trips have both been blessed with exceptional specimins of adult king salmon. Of special note is a king salmon weighing 27.5lbs caught by 14 yr old Jacob "Slick Willy" Zac whos pic is included in this report. Willy caught this behemoth all by himself on a rigger shot down over 117ft. What a great fish for a 14 yr old to land on his very first trip to lake Ontario with his dad Ron and good friend James. They ventured all the way up from Florida and Virginia to sample the great Lake Ontario salmon fishing.
Several groups over the past two weeks have been enjoying great king salmon fishing action. I have updated the photo section with pics of some very happy anglers.
