Fishing on Lake Ontario for King salmon continues to be good to excellent as spawning time continues to draw near. As a bonus, large Coho salmon are beginning to show up more regularly in our cathes as they begin to stage off of their prenatal spawning ground. Some exceptionally large fish are being caught on a daily basis.In fact, one of our clients was able to weigh in a king to make the LOC derby board on day one.Every time a rod flies, it could potentionaly be a $20,000 derby winning fish. It is a good time to be Lake Ontario Fishing for King salmon right now.
