Holden Beach Deep Sea Fishing, Saltwater Fishing Report

Greg Cook of Gods Country Outfitters, Mason “FROG” Kroll, Jim Bivens, David Griffin all from Albemarle and Lane Swindell of Raleigh. Fished with Capt. Keith Logan and Capt. Randy Lingerfelt from Feedin Frenzy Charters out of Holden Beach BC on a full day of bottom fishing on 8/17/2010.

We fished the 90 feet of water area off of Holden Beach. The water was so clear we could see the bottom, ledges and fish in the 90 feet of water. It was a great day on the ocean. It was flat like a lake and very hot out there. We end up catching our limit of big Vermilion snapper in the 2 to 4 lbs range..King Mackerel, Scamp Grouper, Rock Hind, Trigger fish, Big Black Sea Bass, Grunts, and bonito.

His most recent accomplishment includes the first place win of the Capt. Brant’s 2008 Jolly Mon King Mackerel Tournament out of Ocean Isle Beach, NC.

Captain Logan, a native of Brunswick County learned to fish at a ripening young age by accompanying his father Cecil Logan to the offshore waters of Holden Beach. Captain Logan knows where the fish are and is committed to aiding each and every angler aboard his charter to create memories that will last a life time.
