August was a very productive month for catching small schooled rockfish along with large white perch in the 13-15 inch range.
Surface poppers and chumming was the key. For the month of September while the bay temperatures gradually decrease trolling will again be the key technique utilized for trophy stripers.
The key to trolling this time of year is fine the baitfish and troll the edges of the channels.
