Lake Temp: 52-54
Lake Level: 932.00 Normal Pool: 915.00
Table Rock is 18 feet over normal pool and the fish are scattered all over from the shoreline out to the old bank line in 18 20. Spinnerbaits have been by far the most productive lure. Some fish coming from submerged trees, bushes & buck brush that are normally high and dry.
Try setting the boat at the tree line, which is about 15- 20 and tossing the spinnerbait towards the bank. In most places it is so far back you cant see it and slow roll the bait back to the boat. Fish the bait from 1 6 until you find the depth they bite at for that day, depths can change readily.
½ oz. Ύ oz. baits working best for shallower cover, and the best blade combinations have been Colorado willow and tandem willow blades in gold or gold and nickel, also try some painted blades in white or chartreuse in the more stained water. Lots of different skirt combinations working. What are working best for me have been slaw colored for the muddy water and the chartreuse blue for the stained water. Crankbaits such as Wigglewarts, Bombers, & Strike Kings that run 6 8 deep will also work at catching these bass.
Should be many fish on beds this weekend with the full moon if the sun comes out and stays out. This very well could be one of Table Rocks best years for the spawn, lake levels should stay high as there is no place for the water to go giving the bass fry an excellent cover to survive. Good Luck & Good Fishing!
