Species - Blue Angelfish
Scientific Name - (Holacanthus bermudensis)
Physical Description - Body is yellowish with blue highlights and blue-tipped dorsal and anal spines. Tail is yellow. Very similar to the Queen Angelfish, but lacks the blue spots on forehead and pectoral. May hybridize with the Queen Angel. Up to about 18 inches.
Range - Mostly South Florida and Bahamas; some off both coasts of North Florida.
Habitat - Prefers coral reefs and areas with sponges.
Spawning Habits - N/A
Food Usage/Selection - Seldom eaten; said to be okay.
Sporting Qualities - Rarely hooked. Caught once in a while by reef fishermen on shrimp and cut baits, but feeds mostly on sponges and other tropical marine growth.

Blue Angelfish Red Whiptail Cat (L010a)
My 20 gallon planted aquarium. First video showing my 2 Juvenile Blue Angels, 2 Fully grown female Red Lizard Catfish (L010a). I also have 6 Gold Tetra, 4 Neon Tetras, and 5 Green Neon Tetras. Everyone gets along well and the Red Plecos are just as active as the Angels.
